Terms and Conditions for Online Dermatological Consultation Services

Please carefully read these terms and conditions before utilizing this online dermatological consultation services. These Terms govern your access to and use of our online platform for dermatology consultations and Services. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Consultation Services: 

  1. Telemedicine involves the use of electronic communications to enable healthcare providers at different locations to share individual patient medical information for the purpose of improving patient care. Providers may include primary care practitioners, specialists, subspecialists, physiotherapists, dieticians, psychologists and healthcare providers. 

The information may be used for diagnosis, therapy, follow-up and/or education. The information may include any of the following: 

● patient medical records; 

● medical images; 

● live two-way chat, audio and video; 

● output data from medical devices, audio and video files. 

 

  1. The electronic systems used will incorporate network and software security protocols to protect the confidentiality of patient identification and imaging data and will include measures to safeguard the data and to ensure its integrity against intentional or unintentional corruption. 

  2. You can book telemedicine consultations or video consultations (on their own) and join these willingly. The act of joining the consultation implies consent from the member. All video consultations are recorded as per National Medical Commission and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Telemedicine guidelines.

  3. You understand that the laws that protect privacy and the confidentiality of medical information also apply to telemedicine, and that no information obtained in the use of telemedicine which identifies you will be disclosed to researchers or other entities without your consent. 

  4. You understand that you have the right to withhold or withdraw your consent to the use of telemedicine in the course of your care at any time. If you continue to use the portal, then your consent is implied. 

  5. You understand that the patient and the medical practitioner have an absolute right to refuse the telemedicine at the outset for no reason , withdraw midway, at any stage during a telemedicine session without assigning any reason 

  6. You understand that you have the right to ask for and review all information obtained and recorded in the course of a telemedicine interaction, and may receive copies of this information for a reasonable fee.

  7.  Your doctor will explain to you various treatment options available to you. You can make an informed decision along with your doctors, based on what suits you better. 

  8. You understand that telemedicine may involve electronic communication of your personal medical information to relevant medical practitioners who may be located in different parts of the world. 

  9. You understand that it is your duty to inform the medical practitioner regarding your care that you may have with other healthcare providers.

  10. You understand that you may expect the anticipated benefits from the use of telemedicine in your care, but that no results can be guaranteed or assured. 

  11. You understand that the advice provided during the consultation is based on the information you provide. However, the lack of physical examination may limit the accuracy of the advice given. The medical practitioner have the right to decide on appropriateness of teleconsultation in a particular condition and if needed can advise you for a direct physical consultation at any point of time

  12. The same standard of care/ethical norms as in-person consultations will be followed and there will be no compromise in quality of healthcare provided.

  13. The patient shall be responsible for the accuracy of details shared by him/her with the medical practitioner as the history and information provided by you would be the only source of information helping the medical practitioner in evaluating and managing the condition.

 

  1. Appointment and Cancellation: 

a. Appointments for online consultations can be scheduled through our platform. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the appointment booking process. 

b. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us within a reasonable time frame (30 minutes before the scheduled time). Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee .

  1. Payment: 

A . Our Services are subject to fees as disclosed on our platform. You agree to pay the specified fees for the consultations as indicated during the appointment booking process. 

B . Payments are processed through the Razorpay platform or other designated payment gateways. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the specified fees using the selected payment method.

C . No change or effect on fees in case of managed health care or reimbursement by employer or insurance 

  1. Privacy and Confidentiality:

 

  1.  We are committed to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information and medical records. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Intellectual Property: a. All content, materials, and intellectual property provided through our Services are owned or licensed by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of such content without our prior written consent.

  2. Limitation of Liability: 

a. We strive to provide accurate and reliable advice, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the information provided during consultations.

 b. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of our Services, including any errors or omissions in the consultation or reliance on the advice provided.

  1. Modifications:

 a. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on our platform. Your continued use of our Services after the changes will constitute your acceptance of the modified Terms.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: 

a. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Telemedicine.`
